The concept

Designed by hoteliers.
Made by craftsmen.

Rentakub is not just another builder. With more than 7 years of experience in tourist rentals, we designed the Kubo Family around what actually rents best — optimal capacity, durable materials, a layout that families love.

For manufacturing, we work in exclusive partnership with a European workshop specialising in timber-frame construction. This separation of roles — designers on one side, craftsmen on the other — ensures a vision built for profitability, executed with the precision of a specialist manufacturer.

Customisation

Two finishes, one soul.

Same architecture, same build quality. Choose the exterior character that suits you — warm and natural, or contemporary and refined.

Your choice · No structural change
Thermo-treated wood finish
Timber finish

Heat-treated wood

The natural character, the warmth of a chalet.

A high-temperature-treated solid wood cladding, stable and moisture-resistant without chemicals. The patina evolves over time, blending the house into its surroundings — ideal in the mountains, the forest, or for those seeking a warm, organic feel.

  • Solid timber thermo-treated at high temperature
  • Natural patina that improves with the seasons
  • No chemical treatment — entirely ecological
  • Ideal for mountains, forests, chalet settings
ETICS mineral render finish
Mineral render

Mineral render

Contemporary elegance, thermal performance.

A mineral render on external thermal insulation (ETICS) with rock wool. Matt, clean and timeless finish that works as well in a Mediterranean setting as in an urban environment. Leading thermal performance, minimal maintenance.

  • ETICS insulation with high-density rock wool
  • Superior thermal performance, fire-resistant
  • Minimal maintenance, timeless finish
  • Ideal for Mediterranean climates and contemporary style
Three ways to live

One tiny house, many lives.

The Kubo Family is more than a tourist rental. Well insulated and finished like a real home, it adapts to your project — whether it lasts a weekend or a lifetime.

Primary residence

Live in your Kubo Family all year round, without compromise on comfort. 4-season insulation, high-performance double glazing and materials built to last make it a real home — not a seasonal shelter. A concrete alternative to traditional real estate, more affordable and more free.

Holiday residence

Your weekend retreat, ready to welcome you in every season. Place it by a lake, in the vineyards, in the mountains, or at the back of the garden. No wasted time on maintenance — just more time to escape.

Why Kubo

What makes the difference.

Six things you won't find with most of our competitors — that make all the difference.

4-season insulation

Habitable all year round, in the mountains as well as by the sea. Rock wool in the walls, floor and roof. High-performance double glazing.

You arrive, you move in. Plumbing, electricity, sanitary facilities, kitchen, interior finishes. Everything is fitted in the factory and tested before shipping.

Controlled lead times

Workshop production, independent of weather. Allow approximately 8 to 12 weeks between signing and delivery to your plot.

Thermo-treated wood

High-temperature-treated solid wood cladding. Stable, moisture-resistant, no chemicals. A patina that improves over time.

Seven years of hotel experience built into the design. Optimised capacity, material durability, simplified maintenance. Profitable from the first season.

Builder's warranty

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know.

The listed price (33,043 € excl. VAT) covers the turnkey tiny house, 4-season insulated, finished and factory-tested. Transport varies according to your location and is calculated on a personalised quote. We will provide a firm amount once your address is confirmed.

In most countries, a tiny house under 20 m² may only require a simple prior declaration. For larger models (such as the Kubo Family), a building permit is generally required if the installation exceeds 3 months per year. We provide all the technical documents needed for your application.

Furniture is not included in the base price. As an option, we can deliver the kitchen fully equipped with appliances (fridge, hob, oven, hood). The remaining furniture (beds, sofa, table, storage) is your responsibility — giving you full freedom to personalise your interior to your taste.

Allow approximately 8 to 12 weeks between signing the contract and delivery to your plot, depending on the model chosen and the season. Since manufacturing takes place in a covered workshop, it is independent of the weather. We keep you informed at every stage.

Absolutely — that's its very purpose. The concept was designed by and for hoteliers, based on more than 7 years of short-term rental experience. Optimised capacity, durable materials, quick turnaround between stays: the Kubo Family is built to generate rental income from the very first season.

Yes. A tiny house can be financed through a conventional mortgage (if placed on foundations) or through a personal/home improvement loan depending on the project. We work with several partner brokers who can assist you. Mention your financing needs in the form for a referral.
